On Thursday, May 17th, Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley and Hamilton County Commissioner Denise Driehaus were on hand to help cut the ribbon on Q Laboratories’ new 30,000 sq.ft., $10 Million laboratory building located on Knob Hill in East Price Hill on the Westside of Cincinnati.

qlabs-radcliff-photoQ Laboratories’ COO David Goins has been with Q Laboratories for over 29 years and has seen the company grow from a very small regional firm to a large organization providing services for companies around the world. “We have been fortunate to have a fantastic team that has enabled us to continue to grow. Opening this beautiful new building is a testament to the dedication of all of our employees and the excellence they bring to the lab every day.  This is a proud day for Q Laboratories’ employees, past and present.” said Goins, “For any successful business, it takes talented personnel to make it work. Q Laboratories’ history is comprised of exceptional people doing extraordinary work.”

Moving On Up

The Analytical Chemistry laboratory will be the first department relocated to the new facility, followed by two Microbiology Labs (Food and Pharma). The company also purchased two buildings, adjacent to the newly constructed facility to house administrative departments such as Accounting, HR, Sales & Marketing, and the Quality Assurance Unit. The move increases the company’s overall square footage from 25,000 to 55,000 allowing them to continue the sharp growth curve they have experienced over the previous 15+ years.
